Adding apps then saving to USB Flash Drive

At a recent Ham Fest I picked up a CD of Debian that was chocked full of Ham Radio programs for linux. I want to take an Ubuntu install and load Ham Radio programs to it and be able to put an iso on a bootable persistent USB flash Drive w/o having my user name and password. I want to be able to then make copies of the USB and distribute to the Ham Community. I actually want to make different distros in this fashion. Also is there any program I can use to make multiple copies of a USB flash drive without having to build each one manual with a program like Yumi? I don’t check the forum to often so if you wish write me at [snip].

Yes, you can do that…if the licences permit.
