Ubuntu LivePatch and software / hardware failures: how to disable a token?

Hello,
I’ve enabled LivePatch on my laptop.
What if my laptop dies, or I should reinstall Ubuntu because I had a SNAFU?
I saw there is a “disable” switch for disabling LivePatch, but: what if I cannot do that?
