I guess I am doing something really stupid, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to log into the Ubuntu server created from an OVA in an ESXi host. In the optional section during the OVA deployment, you can specify a default password. I have tried doing this and leaving it blank, but trying to log on with the username “ubuntu” or “root” gets me nowhere. I have yet to find any documentation on this either, but have come across others having the same issue. Surely this can’t be that difficult?
