This Week in Mir (8th Jun, 2018)

Hello, and welcome to this week’s This Week In Mir!

The logind support work nears the final stretch - updates to the LinuxVirtualTerminal implementation to make it match the logind behaviour have landed, and updates for the mesa-kms and eglstream-kms platforms are well on their way to approval. This leaves only updating the libinput input platform - which works locally, but which needs updated tests - and then a final 5-line merge to actually enable the Logind support.

Also excitingly, we’ve managed to re-enable the test suite in CI on all supported platforms - Ubuntu16.04, 17.10, 18.04, and Cosmic, and Fedora 27, 28 and Rawhide. We’ve also got the PPA building for all architectures and for 18.04, so if you’ve been itching for a chance to try the latest Mir on your huge Power9 workstation, this is your lucky week!
