This Week In Mir (2nd Feb, 2018)

Another quick update for the week!

The (rather monolithic) Wayland frontend code has started causing the oldish GCC in 16.04 to die while trying to compile it; @alan_g has been taming this beast.

wlcs now has all the Weston surface tests (and a couple more). This exposed a bug in how Mir handles surface movement, which is now fixed.

Have a fun weekend!

A small clarification: the problems with the compiler “choking” on wayland_connector.cpp have been on Ubuntu 17.10 and Fedora 27 (not Ubuntu 16.04).

Hah! This is what happens when you come back after a week off
