Hi all! Quick update of how the week went:
@alan_g is making sterling progress on implementing support for the Wayland protocol extensions required for GTK and Qt applications work.
@saviq and @niemeyer made some improvements to our CI infrastructure, so we can now build and test multiple targets in parallel which gives a faster turnaround.
I landed improvements to the Wayland interface in Snapd, so Mir (or any other Wayland server) can be shipped in its own snap running fully confined and allow separate Wayland clients snaps to connect to it.
