Hey, I am new to Ubuntu platform and I want to install in on my HP Windows laptop on my primary OS. I was using it on VM ware but now I am removing windows and using Ubuntu. Can anyone share me step by step guide for this process, or should I contact HP support number for this? help will be highly appreciated.
I think the only part you would need help with is making a USB stick to install it from. The instructions for that are here:

Then to boot your HP from that USB stick, tap the F9 key very early after turning the machine on.
