Click to minimize is not supported in Ubuntu 18.04 or 19.04

Hello all,

I’ve been using Ubuntu since 2 years in all my systems and my experience is quite good as of now. I’ve been missing this feature after 18.04 (GNOME). When we click on icon in the dock, it will not minimize. In windows / earlier ubuntu versions, we can somehow get this option.

It is very annoying to hide the applications. Would be great if somebody can talk about this to the devs and include this by default!

It does work in the Dash To Panel extension.

Would indeed be nice to have on the default launcher/dock.
