Can we encrypt the root directory with VeraCrypt?

Is it possible to encrypt the root area with VeraCrypt or something that supports deniable encryption?

Are you asking if something is possible?

Or are you asking Ubuntu developers to change how encryption is currently handled for everybody?

I was originally asking if it was possible to do something, but as you mentioned on the other post how this site is for the co-ordination of the Ubuntu project(s), and not support, I want to now actually suggest deniable encryption hidden OS for Ubuntu, where the user can have an outer and inner volume, something where VeraCrypt does for Windoes. Unfortunately, VeraCrypt does not support a hidden OS feature for Linux and I was wondering if Ubuntu could support something like this?
