Ubuntu 17.10 - Display manager won't allow rearrangement displays

Like the topic says above, since the change to the new Ubuntu default interface of Gnome and GDM I have a problem that the Display Arrangement console won’t let me rearrange my monitor configuration.

What’s worse is I thought maybe it had a preference as to which video output was first, after swapping my cables I realized it’s alphabetic by the Display name. I can physically swap my monitors to solve for this, but I feel like there is either something broken or failed during my update and I’m hoping someone can help.

The temporary fix to rearranging displays is to disable all except for the left most display, then re-enable the one you want on its right and so on.

I’ve moved this to the https://community.ubuntu.com/c/support-help-requests category because this site isn’t designed to take tech support questions. Sorry. I’d recommend using one of the official support channels listed on the https://community.ubuntu.com/t/finding-help/712 page.
