Systemd BUG with proofd

Hello! I am new UBUNTU user. I installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS to my laptop (Kaybe Lake). The kernel is 4.10.0-35-generic. I get core dumped file and dmesg command shows [ 7.215263] systemd-sysv-generator[272]: Failed to build name: Invalid argument error.

Googling the topic debian bug report, I followed

mkdir /tmp/X

sudo SYSTEMD_LOG_LEVEL=debug /lib/systemd/system-generators/systemd-sysv-generator /tmp/X /tmp/X /tmp/X

which clearly showed that

Loading SysV script /etc/init.d/root-system-proofd Failed to build name: Invalid argument

Now the mentioned website hinted that next releases are checked for this bug. Is there any solution for Ubuntu? I did nothing till now for solution.

Please suggest me how may I avoid this.
Thanks and Regards
Abhijit
