Hi,
I recently bought a g4 mini from 2004. Now i was trying to put a form of linux onto it because it runs mac os 10.5.8 and no other apps support that any more and its really crap. But every time i booted into Lubuntu installer from the disk it would crash at a random point and i had to hard reset the system to get it back in working order. Now i did manage to install Lubuntu onto the system (somehow). But now it is doing the same thing, crashing at a random point if i try to do something. I haven’t fully figured out why it does this but it seems to have to do something with that if i do something big, for example: try to look in a zip file, it crashes.

Here are the system specs if that is needed:
CPU: PowerPC G4 1.25 GHz
Ram: 512 DDR SDRAM
GPU: ATI Radeon 9200
I hope that you can teach me something here because this whole experience was a learning curve for me.
