Installing UBUNTU Unity problems

Hey guys, I’m new to ubuntu, and I have a problem with installing Ubuntu Unity on my desktop.

I installed Ubuntu MATE on my old laptop and it works perfectly so I wanted to install ubuntu on my desktop too. I have a Intel i5-4690 64-bit processor and 64-bit win10 installed 1TB of HDD so I added 64GB of SSD for UBUNTU to install on. I tried several programs to make my usb bootable (rufus, unetbootin, linux live USB creator) with all its the same. It does become bootable and when i change boot priorities and boot from usb the screen goes purple with small keyboard sign at the bottom. when I press something it goes to installation menu, but the installation menu is not as when i installed ubuntu mate and not as in video tutorials, its a pixellated purple screen with options in it image
like this. Then when I press anything, screen goes to black and nothing happens… I left it like that for like 1.5 HOURS and still NOTHING!!! I don’t know what to do!!
pls HELP

Tnx!
